A self-employed cultural worker and theatre pedagogue based in Lesce, Slovenia — directing inclusive theatre and mentoring performers on and off the stage.
About
Nika Brgant works in theatre as a director, performer and pedagogue. She is registered as a self-employed worker in culture (»samozaposlena v kulturi, pedagoginja«) and is based in Lesce, in Slovenia's Gorenjska region.
Her work has brought together performers of very different backgrounds on the same stage — established community actors from Gledališče Toneta Čufarja Jesenice alongside actors from the Biser theatre group of CUDV Radovljica, a centre for the training, work and care of people with special needs. She also creates theatre for children and mentors young performers in school settings.
